Its been almost a year to date since I first heard the scuttlebutts that I was about to be sacked. Well, that kinda happened and got undone in one fluid motion. My application got rejected simply because one individual refused to place her John Hancock on my application form. Then, the department underwent a transition of leadership and the new chair, swooped me back into position sans privileges. Makes you kinda think right? Tsk... tsk... tsk... they showed their cards, I will show mine next. They think they got the aces. I'm holding a wild card.... the Joker!
