Hiatus

Today, I starting spending a few days in hiatus. Away from the hustle and bustle life of an anesthesiologist. Keeping my mind off my day job. But just as I am in hibernation, I am reminded of the sad state of my laptop. It is now on it's 14th day of hiatus. Suspended animation is more like it. The damn video chipsets broke again. It's as if it doesn't want to serve me anymore. It's been a good 5 years that I have been with that laptop. But just like all good things, they must come to an end. I guess it is a sign for me. I am reluctant to go out and get a new one knowing that inn a few months, the lion will be out. But I don't want to trouble myself every now and then to bring my laptop to the shop and have them repair the video chipsets for the upteenth time. Now while I'm on a sad note, I wanna take a minute to pause everything and offer a prayer for the soul of a professor whom I considered a friend of mine. I have learned last night from my mentor that he had passed away. May you find happiness in spending eternity with your beloved wife whom you have now been reunited with. Rest in peace Professor O. Kemmotsu... You will be missed. Farewell U.K....
